Is the popular video game "Call of Duty" a War Simulator?

I spoke with a couple privates, a corporal, and a lieutenant; while playing the video games "Rainbow Six Vegas" and these legit war heroes who used, legit 50 caliber machine-gun turrets to kill people; told me that, among today's video games Call of Duty and Battlefield are the most true-to-life war experiences, you can find in modern gaming. They went on to say that, during R&R many soldiers play these video games online, to settle their nerves. I guess VR training is one controller away.
